Job Description

This position will manage and optimize the day-to-day operation of all IT related items including managing servers, network Infrastructure, client installations and IT security. Additionally, the IT Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring that all company users have the IT support they need for computer, phone, or connectivity issues as well as in troubleshooting our Global SAP ERP and Salesforce platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, data centers, and telecommunication system and ensure the stability and security of the company’s network
• Collaborate with corporate functions to customize and implement changes to existing SAP ERP/Salesforce platforms/modules and provide end-user support in this context
• Client administrator tasks, including end-user support, workstation deployments, authorizations, and reporting requirements, to maintain efficient operations.
• Analyze network performance and usage trends to plan for future network expansion and upgrades, accommodating growth and technological advancements.
• Manage data/voice networks, phone systems, mobile device deployments, and alternative solutions to ensure seamless communication and connectivity.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
• Manage Life-Cycle of IT Equipment and Software. Coordinate the purchasing of IT equipment for all locations, including determining needs, pricing, ordering, and tracking, to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisitions.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect IT infrastructure and data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, new implementations, and infrastructure improvements, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Lead/mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance management to ensure high levels of productivity and morale.
• Identify Innovations, changes and alternate ways to achieve savings within the organization, through new product recommendations and vendor identification, optimizing cost-efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management in a manufacturing Operation, with a focus on infrastructure and SAP/Salesforce systems
• Experience with in MS Office Suite, with a strong working knowledge Macros and Visual Basic
• Experience with 3GL and 4GL Programming language
• High affinity for business processes and good working knowledge of SAP ERP Logistic Modules (SD, MM, WM, PP, QM) ) or related ERP software in a manufacturing environment
