About:Our client is a premier investment banking firm focused on providing advisory services to financial institutions, particularly Registered Investment Advisors (RIA), wealth management, and asset management firms. The team is looking for a driven Investment Banking Analyst to join its Tampa office to assist with executing transactions.
Investment Banking Analyst Overview:As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will support the team in executing M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions for clients in the financial services sector. This role will involve financial analysis, modeling, preparing client presentations, and assisting with transaction execution.
Investment Banking Analyst Responsibilities:Financial Modeling & Analysis: Build and maintain financial models, conduct valuations, and provide financial insights for clients.
Market Research: Conduct research on the RIA, wealth, and asset management industries to support deal sourcing and client discussions.
Transaction Support: Assist in due diligence, preparation of marketing materials, and coordination with clients and stakeholders.
Client Presentations: Help create and present client-facing materials, including pitch decks and financial summaries.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: Previous internship experience in investment banking or finance is a plus. Open to Transaction Advisory backgrounds.
Skills: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attributes: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
