The Irrigation Manager will lead and manage LMI Colorado’s irrigation operations across commercial landscape maintenance and installation services. This role requires a highly experienced irrigation professional with strong leadership capabilities, advanced technical expertise, bilingual communication skills, and hands-on knowledge of Aspire landscape management software.
Lead and manage the irrigation department to deliver high-quality, efficient irrigation services on schedule and within budget
Develop and manage irrigation schedules, water budgets, and preventive maintenance programs
Oversee irrigation installations, start-ups, audits, repairs, seasonal adjustments, and winterization
Train, mentor, and supervise irrigation technicians and field crews, ensuring safety and quality standards
Perform site inspections and system evaluations; diagnose issues and recommend corrective actions
Communicate effectively with clients, property managers, and internal teams in both English and Spanish
Utilize Aspire software for scheduling, work orders, labor tracking, materials, and job costing
Coordinate departmental scheduling, inventory, and labor resources
Ensure compliance with local water regulations and industry best practices
Minimum 10 years of overall experience in irrigation, landscaping, or a related field
3+ years of irrigation management or supervisory experience in commercial landscape maintenance or installation
Bilingual required (English and Spanish)
Proficiency in Aspire landscape management software is required
Strong technical knowledge of irrigation systems, controllers (Rain Bird, Hunter, Weathermatic, etc.), and troubleshooting
Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing field teams
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and customer-service skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Irrigation certifications (CLIA, CLWM, BPAT, state licensure) strongly preferred
