The smartdept. inc. is in search of a Multimedia Designer for a print & digital corporate client in Walker, MI. This is a full-time flexible (30-40hrs/week), fully remote , ongoing contract position. The ideal candidate will be a recent college graduate with 1-2 years of professional experience. Compensation ranges from $15-$17/hr depending on experience level. What you'll do: The multimedia designer will be designing both print and digital collateral as well as setting files up for production. The multimedia designer will perform production workflow, manually correct digital files, and ensure quality control of print and web materials created. The designer will establish and maintain quality, productive relationships with sales staff and advertising clients. What you'll need: A degree in graphic design Recent college graduate with 1-2 years of professional experience Extensive computer software proficiency focusing on Adobe Creative Suite and Mac OS (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) High level of organizational skills and the ability to create excellent work within deadlines Professional communication skills, both written and verbal Up-to-date design and art skills through self-education of industry trends and software skills The ability to produce and release sold ads consistently within agreed-upon timelines and quality standards HTML 5 is a plus! Must have a portfolio showcasing professional projects Sharp, go-getter attitude Scheduling flexibility: this position requires flexibility to work between the following shifts subject to change on a weekly basis: 9am-6pm ET; 10am-7pm ET; 11am-8pm ET; 1pm-10pm ET.
