Veterinary Technician

A busy and successful Veterinary Practice in Ashland is in search of an enthusiastic and energetic Veterinary Technician to join the team. If you have the following qualifications apply today!

Primary Qualifications/Responsibilities

Training is available for candidates who possess exemplary communication skills and are passionate about learning to help care for pets! After your training is complete, your primary responsibilities will be:

• A current Veterinary Technician License in good standing is required!
• At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience previously working as a Veterinary Technician * This is required!
• The desire to perform a multitude of veterinary technician tasks including blood draws, catheter placement, obtaining urine/stool samples, surgical preparation and assistance, and MORE!
• A learning mindset as it is never too late to learn new skills or to improve the ones you already have
• Attention to detail and a high degree of organization 
• A positive, friendly demeanor is a MUST!

Hours & Availability

This is a part or full time opening! Your availability should align with our hours of operation as follows:

• Monday - Thursday: 7:30am – 5:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
• Saturday - Sunday: As needed
• Rotating weekends are required 

Compensation

We are searching for a great candidate and offer competitive pay accordingly, the starting hourly range for this position is $20 - $25 per hour, and is dependent upon experience. Other amazing benefits include:
