Job Description

Position Summary

The Product Marketing Manager will play a crucial role over the next two years in AltaThera’s growth of its current FDA approved product as well as other products in the pipeline. This is a strategic leadership role, with a focus on developing marketing strategies to aligni sales, marketing, and medical teams to meet business objectives. In addition, tactical execution is a big part of the role, including creating marketing materials, training sales teams, and gathering customer feedback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic alignment across sales, marketing, and medical teams to achieve business objectives
  • Lead the development and execution of commercial marketing strategy for both current FDA-approved products and pipeline assets
  • Create and implement comprehensive marketing materials and sales tools to support field effectiveness
  • Design and deliver sales team training programs to enhance product knowledge and selling capabilities
  • Establish and maintain processes for gathering and analyzing customer feedback to inform strategy
  • Develop and execute launch plans for pipeline products
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize commercial performance
  • Manage relationships with key opinion leaders and strategic partners
  • Monitor market dynamics and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities
  • Direct market research initiatives to inform product positioning and strategic planning

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical marketing leadership roles
  • Proven track record of successful product launch and life cycle management
  • Detailed knowledge of FDA regulations and compliance
  • Strong experience in cross-functional team leadership and alignment
  • Deep understanding of hospital market dynamics and decision-making processes
  • Experience in both strategic planning and tactical execution
  • Background in cardiology or hospital-based products preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute commercial strategies
  • Excellence in both written and verbal communication
  • Strong analytical and business planning capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Experience managing and developing direct reports
