MATERIAL HANDLER I

Location: Redmond, WA (On-site)

Rate: $22-24 hourly

Contract: 12 months

Shift Comments: 5:30 am to 4pm, Monday through Thursday with opportunity for overtime.

Main Responsibilities:

• Under general supervision, responsible for performing the physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts and supplies along with maintaining records of materials/inventory.
• This position requires an individual to meet work schedule and meet overtime requirements, including weekends.
• Must read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English.
• The job required the ability to carry out verbal instructions and communicate verbally in English, to adhere to safety related issues to include, but not limited to good housekeeping and ergonomics practices. It also requires an individual to observe and correct/note minute inconsistencies
• Must be able to analyze material/inventory issues using independent judgment

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED Qualifications & Experience
• Experience in material handling activities

Physical & Mental Requirements:

• Exert up to 50 pounds of work occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
