About the Company:

Our client, a leading healthcare facility, is looking for a Medical Administrative Assistant to provide front desk and administrative support to the Manager of the Medical Staff Office. This role involves handling sensitive and confidential information, including credentialing, licensing, and compliance documentation for healthcare providers. It requires high professionalism and interaction with executive leadership and physicians.

About the Role:

The Medical Administrative Assistant will be the face of the office, managing front desk operations and various administrative duties. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of healthcare administrative experience, be highly organized, and demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for the office, greeting visitors and handling inquiries professionally.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including scanning, data entry, mail distribution, and document management.
  • Answer incoming calls from the main office line and assist with staff and provider inquiries.
  • Collect and process checks as needed.
  • Work closely with executive leadership and physicians, ensuring professionalism in all interactions.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling credentialing, licensing, and medical staff paperwork.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of healthcare administrative experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other administrative software.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • GED or high school diploma required.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay range and compensation package:

Pay: $18 - $22/hour, depending on experience
