We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary care, as well as functional and integrative medicine, and will thrive in a patient-focused environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments, particularly in the areas of integrative primary care and weight management.
• Prepare patients for exams, including taking vital signs, performing strength assessments, biometric assessments and recording medical histories, and setting up examination rooms.
• Perform routine clinical tasks, drawing blood, performing EKGs, and assisting with minor procedures.
• Provide patient education on topics related to integrative health, weight management, and lifestyle changes.
• Assist with the coordination of patient care, including scheduling appointments, managing referrals, and following up on treatment plans.
• Ensure professional and timely communication with patients through email and message patients through our member app
• Maintain accurate patient records in electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Support the office’s operational needs, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
• Deliver excellent customer service, addressing patient concerns and ensuring a positive experience within the practice.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a setting focused on integrative medicine or weight management.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care practices.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and other medical software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
