MIG Welders

📍 Travel Position — Per Diem Included

🕕 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Monday–Friday

We’re looking for experienced MIG Welders to support ongoing fabrication work. Ideal candidates are confident in their welding skills, able to read blueprints, and comfortable in a fast-paced shop environment.

💰 Compensation

• $28-$40/hr
• $125/day Per Diem
• $2,500 sign-on bonus for qualified, local candidates
• Full-time / 1st shift schedule

✅ Qualifications

• 5+ years MIG welding experience required
• Ability to pass weld test:
• MIG .035 hard wire
• In-position welding
• Blueprint reading
• Machine setup & adjustments
• AWS D1.1 / D1.6 / D1.2 certifications preferred
• Able to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong shop math and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with common shop tools (grinders, band saws, calipers, plasma cutter, torch, etc.)
• Ability to identify material types and thicknesses
• Strong communication skills
• Capable of lifting 30–50 lbs regularly

🔧 Responsibilities

• Weld mild steel , stainless steel , and occasionally aluminum per blueprint requirements
• Inspect finished welds against job specs
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow OSHA/WISHA standards at all times
• Operate forklift (training may be provided)
• Perform additional duties as needed
• Communicate issues with equipment or quality promptly
