We are currently searching for a MRI Technologist to join our growing practice.

We are currently searching for an MRI Technologist to join our growing practice. The MRI Technologist will always maintain patient safety as well as provide excellent customer service. He or she must complete a wide variety of musculoskeletal MRI studies with proficiency and quality. MRI Technologist will not use contrast during scans and will perform all studies except brain, breast, abdomen, MRA and MRV. Patient volume ranges from 5 to 10 patients per day.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the MRI machine and medical equipment to produce high quality diagnostic scans.
  • Screens patients for metal, implants, and other foreign objects.
  • Advanced level of MRI safety and knowledge of when to defer to Radiologist for clearance.
  • Attending to special needs of patients whether claustrophobia, ethnicity differences, language differences, or physical needs.
  • Daily documentation in each aspect of media for each patient accurately as needed.
  • Stay current with Continuing Education necessary for their Certifications.

Qualifications:

  • One year experience and/or MRI Internship (at minimum)
  • Orthopedic MRI experience is preferred
  • Experience on a low field Open MRI system

License:

  • ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) required
