We have an immediate opening for a nephrologist interested in either general nephrology or a general/transplant mix to join our practice located in Kansas City. Our care team consists of eight (8) nephrologists and seven (7) nurse practitioners. Our nurse practitioners assist with call coverage, office follow-ups, and dialysis rounds. We have a strong relationship with the St. Luke’s Hospital System and provide call coverage for the four (4) area hospitals, with courtesy privileges at several others and telemedicine services to four (4) rural hospitals. No procedures; however, clinical research opportunities available.
Our physician team works collaboratively and creates a transparent atmosphere that highly values the equality among the group. Patient care is a priority for us and keeps our referral base strong and quality outcomes for our patients. In addition to our strong physician team we have a solid business acumen and our practice operations team ensure our business is well run keeping our days in AR to a minimum.
We offer a generous compensation and benefit package that includes a partnership track. Early partnership is available to those who meet or exceed the set revenue goals, as well contribute to the growth of the practice and work well within the physician team. Six-weeks (6) of vacation is offered at the employment level and twelve (12) weeks with partnership. Additionally, partners share medical directorship revenue and are eligible to participate in investment opportunities.
To be considered for this position candidates must be BC/BE in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, licensed or able to be licensed in both Missouri and Kansas, possess a strong clinical acumen, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, have excellent references, and are willing to make a long-term commitment to the community and practice. This position is unable to support candidates with visas at this time.
