Job Description

NEW POSITION - Embedded API Inspector – Full-Time

Optik Technical Solutions, LLC is hiring an API 510/570 Certified Inspector for a full-time, embedded role at a client site. This newly created position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional.

Qualifications:

Required:

API 510 & 570 certifications (minimum 3 years of experience with at least one).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
Valid driver’s license.
Valid TWIC card

Preferred:

API 653 and AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certifications.
Experience with Asset Performance Management (APM) software.

Responsibilities:

Conduct internal and external inspections of equipment and piping systems.
Approve and recommend repairs while verifying completed work.
Compile field notes, historical documentation, and drawings for technical reports.
Ensure adherence to quality assurance, control processes, and safety procedures.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism.
Work effectively within a team environment.

Additional Requirements:

Willingness to work overtime, including night shifts and weekends.
Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
Physical capability to lift 50 lbs., work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme temperatures or noisy environments.
