Prominent hospitality group is seeking a talented bar/beverage manager to lead the bar program of a new Midtown Manhattan restaurant.

Bar Manager Compensation and Benefits

• $80,000-$85,000 salary

Bar Manager Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Create and oversee the restaurant's bar program to enhance the menu and guest experience
• Stay current with bar trends and seasonal flavors
• Maintain high quality standards
• Full understanding of spirits, beer and wine, flavor profiles and pairings
• Create standardized recipes, bar SOPs and oversee bar training
• 3+ years of comparable experience in hotels, bars, restaurants, or nightclubs
• Liquor purchasing, vendor negotiations and drink pricing experience
• Oversee bar recruiting, scheduling, payroll, employee relations and terminations
• Strong financial acumen; ability to track ROI on alcohol sales
• Knowledgeable of local labor laws and health guidelines
• All necessary DOH certification
