Job Description

Prominent hospitality group is seeking a talented bar/beverage manager to lead the bar program of a new Midtown Manhattan restaurant.

Bar Manager Compensation and Benefits

$80,000-$85,000 salary

Bar Manager Responsibilities and Qualifications

Create and oversee the restaurant's bar program to enhance the menu and guest experience
Stay current with bar trends and seasonal flavors
Maintain high quality standards
Full understanding of spirits, beer and wine, flavor profiles and pairings
Create standardized recipes, bar SOPs and oversee bar training
3+ years of comparable experience in hotels, bars, restaurants, or nightclubs
Liquor purchasing, vendor negotiations and drink pricing experience
Oversee bar recruiting, scheduling, payroll, employee relations and terminations
Strong financial acumen; ability to track ROI on alcohol sales
Knowledgeable of local labor laws and health guidelines
All necessary DOH certification
