Role Overview

Your primary mission will be to establish and sustain efficient injection molding processes in our high-speed medical manufacturing environment. As part of the Plastics Manufacturing Engineering Team, directly report to the Process Engineering Technician Supervisor based in Indianapolis, IN. Expect to work on-site, contributing your expertise in everyday tasks including:

• Independently managing and troubleshooting production issues related to molded part quality.
• Monitoring injection molding processes, documenting new and existing workflows.
• Conducting Design of Experiments (DOE) to define processing standards for plastic parts.
• Engaging in technical discussions to synergize with process technicians and operators.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with injection blow molding equipment.
• Bonus qualifications: RJG Master Molder I Certification or an Associate Degree in an applicable field.

Skills and Expertise

We’re particularly interested if you can demonstrate proficiency in:

• Mechanical troubleshooting and CAD software.
• Experience with different materials including Nylon 6, Nylon 66, and PA variances.
• Plastic extrusion and thermoforming capabilities.
• Reading blueprints and setting up tools, dies, and molds.

• Blow Molding Machines
