Clinical Magnet (part of Icon Medical) is looking for a Manager of Surgical Services to join our partner's team in the King City, CA area.

This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY

Key Responsibilities for the Manager of Surgical Services:

The Manager is responsible for all paramedical activities and total nursing care delivered within the Perioperative Services Department. The Manager supervises and directs nursing care and all related activities of the perioperative area, according to the policies and procedures of the MMHS and departments in order to assure the highest quality of patient care: included responsibility for environment, staff personnel, materials and equipment control. Analyzes and evaluates nursing care in the departments, provides for continuing education for all personnel and orientation for new personnel.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to sit and stand/walk for up to 4hours or more per day.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds 3 to 4 hours per day.
• Moderate exposure to hazardous waste and chemicals.

Key Requirements for the Manager of Surgical Services:

• Minimum of (5) years RN experience, including a minimum of 2 years as a circulating RN in surgery – Required
• One year Post anesthesia care experience - Preferred
• Previous leadership, supervisory or management experience – Preferred
• Current California RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (through American Heart Association)

Compensation and Schedule for the Manager of Surgical Services:

• Target rate is $132,000 - $174,000 based on experience
• Full-time, day shift
