* Vacation (after 30 days) * Sick leave (after 90 days) Responsibilities: * Conduct thorough evaluations of children to assess physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities and limitations to determine their therapy needs and goals. * Develop and implement treatment plans that outline goals, interventions, and timelines for the child. * Conduct mobility, feeding, and cognitive tests. * Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to support the child’s development. * Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. * Teach parents how to perform exercises with their children and assist the child in completing exercises at home. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. * Other duties as assigned. Requirements: * Master’s degree in therapy from an accredited program required. * Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Virginia. * Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. * Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Therapy * Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment and modalities. * Ability to adapt to the unique needs of each pediatric patient. * Dedication to exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care. * Strong knowledge and experience in administering various assessment tools, treatment plans and equipment. * Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
