Badge Technician

Location: Sacramento, CA (Various Locations)

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and professional Badge Technicians to support a large-scale badging system upgrade for over 20,000 employees. In this role, you will ensure employees receive a professional photo and a new badge in a seamless and efficient process. This is an onsite, customer-facing role that requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to operate photo and badge printing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet employees warmly and verify their appointments upon arrival at the badging station.
• Guide employees through the photo-taking process, ensuring their satisfaction with the picture before proceeding.
• Operate photo and badge printing equipment to create new badges on the spot.
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and communicate with the team as needed.
• Support walk-in appointments alongside scheduled sessions.
• Adhere to all workplace policies and maintain a professional appearance.
• Assist with setting up and transporting equipment to various locations, including potential remote sites.

Requirements:

• Ability to pass a 10-year background investigation and Social Security trace.
• Compliance with vaccination requirements and medical clearance criteria, including flu shots during flu season (October–December) and TB testing if working in certain locations.
• Availability to work from 7 AM to 4 PM, with flexibility for potential extended hours.
• Physical ability to carry and set up potentially heavy photo and printing equipment.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Reliable transportation to various work sites.

Locations:

• Primary locations are in Sacramento, Rancho Cordova, and surrounding areas. Additional locations may be added as the project progresses.
