Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network , a progressive, academic health system in central New York, major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a physician assistant to join our Department of Orthopedics.

Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated health care system that provides care and service to people living in an eight county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Join an established group of 13 Orthopedic Surgeons and 15 Advanced Practice Clinicians
• Responsibilities will include clinic, hospital floor and OR coverage
• After training period, primary location to be Little Falls, NY
• Orthopedic experience preferred
• Salary range: $104,040 - $141,727 . This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. This range does not include any required call.
• Sign-on bonus up to $50,000
• Additional $20,000 by joining a twice per month call group

Job Qualifications

• National certification as a Physician Assistant
• NYS licensure
• BLS certification required
• DEA required
