RD REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be a Current Registered Dietitian

· An North Carolina State Dietitian License

Registered Dietitian Job Responsibilities:

• Acting nutrition expert for the facility via in house & 35% of the time remotely as needed
• Lead and direct nutritional care of residents.
• Provide MNT to high-risk residents (malnutrition, weight loss, wounds, tube feeding & dialysis).
• Active member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
• Collaborate with Food Service Director, Physician and Rehab Staff
• Train/In-service members of the dietary team
• Document via electronic medical records (EMRs)
• Employ nutrition focused physical assessments as appropriate
