This position is responsible for overseeing inventory management, ensuring that the right parts are available at the right time to meet customer demands. The Parts Manager will also develop and implement strategies to optimize sales and profitability while maintaining high standards of customer service. Additionally, this role involves training and mentoring staff to enhance their product knowledge and customer interaction skills. Ultimately, the Parts Manager will contribute to the overall success of the dealership by driving parts sales and fostering a positive customer experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with motorcycle parts and accessories.
Familiarity with dealership software, or any parts or sales related software. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the parts department, including inventory control and order fulfillment.
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase parts sales and profitability.
Train and mentor parts department staff on product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
Collaborate with the service department to ensure parts availability for repairs and maintenance. Skills: The required skills for this position include organizational abilities, which are essential for managing inventory and ensuring that parts are readily available for customers. Communication skills are necessary for training staff and interacting with customers to provide exceptional service. Sales skills are crucial for developing strategies that drive parts sales and enhance profitability. Additionally, problem-solving skills will be utilized to address any inventory discrepancies or customer concerns effectively.
