• Work Schedule: 20-24 hours per week (2-3 days onsite)
• Worksite Location: Bloomington, MN
• Compensation: $20.00-$35.00 per hour, depending on experience

We are seeking an organized and proactive People & Operations Coordinator to manage core HR functions and support administrative needs across the company. This is a contract role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.

What you’ll do as the People & Operations Coordinator:

• Develop and maintain the employee handbook and internal policies
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
• Manage employee records, performance tracking, and documentation
• Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and leadership
• Support payroll and assist with basic accounting coordination
• Coordinate travel arrangements (flights, hotels, transportation) for team members
• Help manage logistics for meetings, company lunches, and events
• Assist with office operations including supply management, visitor coordination, and workspace setup
• Serve as a point of contact for vendors and service provider
• Support onboarding logistics and help new employees/contractors get settled.

What you’ll bring to the People & Operations Coordinator role:

• HR experience (startup experience strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with employment law and compliance in regulated environments
• Experience with payroll and benefits systems (e.g., Gusto)
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
• Positive, flexible attitude with a growth mindset
