Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Customer Service Representative to join our team, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to patients and healthcare providers in the pharmaceutical industry.

Location: This is a remote position; candidates must reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and have a designated workspace at home.

Compensation: $18-$20 per hour, depending on experience.

Start Date: December 9th

Schedule:
8-hour shifts available between 7 AM - 7 PM CST (8 AM - 8 PM EST)
Key Responsibilities:
Address customer and patient inquiries, ensuring prompt and accurate responses regarding prescriptions and pharmacy services.
Manage and process medical and prescription claims efficiently.
Handle inquiries related to medical and pharmaceutical billing.
Assist patients with verifying medical insurance and exploring payment options.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of one year in a healthcare or medical call center setting is required.
Skills: Familiarity with benefit verification and prior authorization is preferred. Previous healthcare experience and knowledge of medical benefits, insurance, and prescriptions will be advantageous.
Education: A verifiable high school diploma or equivalent is required.
