Requirements:
- Must have a valid Pharmacy Tech license for the state of NC
- Must possess a current CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification
- Must have Data Intake experience in a pharmacy role
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to type 45 words per minute.
- Strong data entry skills and excellent verbal/written communication.
- Must live within reasonable driving distance to Cary, NC
Pay: The anticipated wage for this position is $22
Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
Schedule - 11 to 8pm Monday to Friday and some Saturdays
Location- Cary, NC (on site)
Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for providing telephonic patient counseling, nursing intervention with some support to physicians and coordination and delivery of reimbursement and other services related to the patient support programs.
- Involves interactions with patients, physicians and other health care professionals and members of multidisciplinary team using web based, telephony and face to face means of communication.
- Create a patient profile from a scanned or faxed image by entering correct patient and provider information to ensure all other groups can successfully serve the patient.
- Communicate with providers regarding referral status, prescription clarification, missing
information, or patient concerns so that all information is collected and accurate before it reaches other teams for furthering processing
- Documenting concise progress notes to ensure other roles within the workflow can quickly assess the status of the referral
