Job Description

Pride Health is hiring for multiple Remote Pharmacy Technician openings to support our client’s pharmacy fulfillment project.

This is a Fully Remote opportunity.

Job Details:

1. Job Type: 6-month contract (project-based)
2. Pay range: $18 - $21 per hour (Based on experience, credentialing, and location).
3. Training Schedule: Monday – Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm – 4 week duration. It may be subject to change.
4. Location: Nevada (Fully Remote).
5. Schedule: The shift after training is an 8-hour shift with an hour lunch.
6. Workers must be available as early as 5 am and as late as midnight.
7. 5 days a week which may or may not include weekend coverage.
8. Overtime and Holidays as needed.

Job Duties:

• Primarily answering prior authorization inquiry calls/requests with customer service as well as researching and resolving formulary and benefits issues using the appropriate reference material.
• Process member prescriptions or prior authorizations through various computer systems ensuring the accuracy of all data and updating as necessary
• Using established criteria and guidelines, the pharmacy technician receives, and processes prior authorization requests made by providers and members for medications not inherently covered on a member's prescription drug plan.
• Resolve issues and complaints promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
• Handles inbound phone requests and gathers member data to provide information for Pharmacist consultations.
• Safety is paramount and employees need to have a safe and secure workspace and communicate with their leadership when that safety (equipment, system, information) is compromised.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

1. Licensure/Certification Requirement: Active National or State Board Pharmacy Technician Licensure through Pharmacy Technicians Certification Board (PTCB)
2. State Board of Pharmacy Licensure in state of residence

• A private and secure space to work from home with a hard-wired ethernet cord is required.
• Must be a permanent resident of Nevada.
