Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Primary Care team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care to our diverse patient population, working collaboratively with physicians in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform patient assessments, including physical examinations, histories, and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Diagnose and treat common medical conditions, including chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
  • Order and interpret lab tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Develop treatment plans and follow-up care for patients.
  • Prescribe medications as needed, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Educate patients on preventive care, health maintenance, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical practices, treatments, and industry standards.

Qualifications :

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
  • Prior experience in Primary Care is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems. EPIC a plus
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Advanced knowledge of chronic disease management.
