Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management

  • Oversee daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, logistics, and engineering.
  • Lead, coach, and develop plant leadership teams to ensure accountability and high performance.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage labor relations, performance reviews, and workforce planning.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive efficiency and productivity across all manufacturing processes.
  • Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma initiatives to optimize operations.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) — safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale.
  • Ensure all company and customer standards, including ISO/IATF certifications, are maintained.

Financial Management

  • Develop and manage plant budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
  • Identify and execute cost reduction initiatives and margin improvement strategies.
  • Ensure full P&L accountability for the site

Quality & Safety

  • Promote a zero-defect and zero-incident culture.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with quality teams to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Strategic Planning

  • Support business growth by aligning plant capabilities with customer and company needs.
  • Lead capital investment projects and facility improvements.
  • Partner with senior management to set strategic goals and execute operational plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).
  • Proven success managing a multi-shift operation with full P&L responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of ISO/IATF 16949, OSHA, and environmental standards.
