About the Role:

We’re seeking a skilled and proactive Platform Engineer to join our growing foundational Platform Engineering team. This role is key to building the internal platforms, tools, and infrastructure that empower our software development teams to move faster, with greater reliability and security. You'll work across the full software delivery lifecycle, applying DevOps and SRE principles to create scalable, automated, and developer-friendly frameworks and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and Maintain Internal Platforms: Design and implement reusable infrastructure, frameworks, services, and tools that support engineering teams across the company.

Enable Developer Self-Service: Create interfaces and abstractions (e.g., templates, APIs, CLIs, internal portals) that empower developers to manage their environments and deployments independently.

Manage CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps, ensuring fast and secure software delivery.

Infrastructure as Code: Use tools like Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.

Kubernetes Operations: Build, manage, and monitor containerized workloads on Kubernetes clusters.

Observability & Reliability: Establish and maintain monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting systems to ensure application and infrastructure health.

Supply Chain Security: Contribute to secure software delivery by implementing tools and practices like in-toto, SLSA, and CycloneDX.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with DevOps, Development, Change Management, and Security teams to design and deliver platform improvements.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to eliminate toil, increase reliability, and enhance platform usability at scale.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Solid experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with:

o Microsoft Azure

o Kubernetes

o GitHub / GitHub Actions

o Azure DevOps

o C#, .NET Core, Java, or other programming language

o .Net Core

• Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., NuShell, Python, Bash, PowerShell)

• Deep understanding of CI/CD, IaC, and modern infrastructure practices.

• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in fullstack application development , including modern frameworks and deployment patterns.

• Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB).

• Familiarity with modern software supply chain tools , including in-toto, SLSA, and CycloneDX.

• Prior experience working in healthtech or fintech environments with compliance and security requirements.
