Preconstruction Manager

Key responsibilities:

• Develop conceptual budgets and detailed estimates at all stages of design
• Conduct value engineering reviews and provide strategic input on systems and materials
• Manage subcontractor bids and maintain historical cost data
• Review plans and drawings for cost and constructability insights
• Support early procurement and logistics planning with development and project teams

What you’ll need:

• At least 5 years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or a related role i.e. PM that estimates or is involved in Preconstuction (if you have more or less than 5 years, please still get in touch)
• Strong technical understanding of building systems and construction methods
• Proficiency with drawings, quantity take-offs, and cost-planning tools
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work proactively within a collaborative environment

• Above market and competitive – up to $200k (above for a more experienced and senior candidate)
