Job Description

MAU is hiring a Process Quality Engineer for our client in Greenville, SC. As a Process Quality Engineer, you will utilize standard engineering techniques to achieve quality, efficiency, and timeliness objectives, supporting overall departmental goals. This is an 18-month contract position with the potential for direct hire.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
• At least one year of manufacturing experience
• Experience in assembly and/or machining

General Requirements

• Excellent ability to read, analyze, and interpret data, engineering drawings, and technical procedures
• Strong skills in writing process planning steps and creating work instructions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
• Strong critical thinking, communication (oral and written), and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Requirements

• Preferred degrees: Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering

Essential Functions

• Document technical data for assigned components, assemblies, and systems, ensuring compliance with quality policies and procedures
• Prioritize and implement multiple concurrent process improvement projects, individually or as part of a multifunctional team, to enhance customer satisfaction and business productivity
• Provide advanced quality engineering support for processes and automated equipment
• Apply standard engineering techniques to assigned tasks, ensuring specific quality, quantity, and timeliness goals are met to support departmental objectives
• Conduct training sessions on quality assurance concepts and tools
• Maintain and enhance process documentation in the assigned area to ensure consistent quality
