Job Description

Procurement Buyer (Contract)

Location: Exton, PA (Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite)

Duration: 6 Months (Starting January 2026)

Rate: $35 to $36

Role Overview

We are seeking a professional Procurement Buyer to manage the drafting and execution of contracts within predefined thresholds. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the best possible terms and conditions for the organization while maintaining high standards of professionalism and communication with global stakeholders and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Management: Draft and execute contracts, including Statements of Work (SOWs), and coordinate with suppliers for final review and approval.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate agreements to secure favorable terms while ensuring all suppliers are covered by active contracts in cooperation with Category Management and Legal.
  • Supplier Onboarding: Support new supplier onboarding by completing and submitting required request forms.
  • Risk Management: Initiate, track, and manage Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) requests, coordinating between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring: Prepare operational materials for supplier performance reviews by collecting and consolidating performance data.
  • Operational Support: Support invoice and payment-term inquiries and provide logistical support for procurement events and stakeholder communications.

Professional Competencies

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of professional procurement experience.
  • Contracting Skills: Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiating, and working with legal frameworks.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of regional/global markets, procurement guidelines, and supplier relationship management.
  • Pharma Experience: Prior experience in a pharmaceutical environment is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to prioritize complex tasks based on cost, timeline, and impact.

Work Schedule & Environment

  • Type: Full-Time Contract
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Format: Hybrid (Minimum 2 days per week at our Exton, PA location).
