Job Description

Job Title: PRODUCT CONTROL WORKER - DAYS

Location(s): San Marcos

Work Schedule: DAYS: Monday-Friday, 10A-6:30P

Hours Per Week: 40+ hours; Full Time

Job Duties: The PRODUCT CONTROL WORKER - receives palletized or crated product and organizes by type using a pallet jack, loading trucks based on loadsheets, scanning products, inventory checks, and bin audits. May also move or stack product by hand to boxes or crates. May stretch-wrap stacks or pallets by hand or machine as needed. May require using hands to grip a metal case hook to occasionally pull or push heavy stacks of milk weighing up to 330lbs across diamond plate platform; must be physically able to lift up to 75lbs on occasion. Work is conducted in a cold environment which averages 35° degrees Fahrenheit. Checks temperatures and completes paperwork. Other duties as assigned. Requires the ability to speak, read and understand English. Heavy labor experience in a similar environment is preferred .

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is constantly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop. The employee must regularly push, pull; lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to cold, wet and/or humid conditions and; moving mechanical parts.
