Reports to : Director of Business Development

Job Type: Full-time, Regular

Compensation: $22 - $25 per hour based on experience

Benefits: Full-Time Benefits Eligible

This is an in-office position located at our Draper, UT office with the ability to work from home at times.

Job Summary: The Proposal Coordinator will support Eocene’s Business Development and Regional marketing efforts with proposal coordination and tracking, organization, communication, writing, and creation of proposal materials.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions:

  • Coordinate, organize, and track the proposal workflow from the pre-RFP stage to the final proposal delivery
  • Prepare support text, matrices, and tables and coordinate graphics for proposals
  • Manage production of final proposals, with an emphasis on quality control and on-time delivery
  • Create, maintain, and update company marketing materials and presentations
  • Maintain the overall proposal tracker and dashboard and prepare routine summary reports
  • Research and track proposal opportunities
  • Support with technical editing reviews of other reports and documents, as needed
  • Create marketing materials such as one-sheets and Statements of Qualifications
  • Create PowerPoint slides for presentations and follow-up proposal interviews
  • Coordinate graphic needs with our Eocene Marketing team
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings
  • Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright’s and Eocene Environmental Group's culture of safety and employee ownership
  • Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintain knowledge of and follow all company policies and procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field
  • Technical writing, grammar, and proof-reading skills
  • Ability to take ownership of a project from start to finish and see it through to completion
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • High degree of organizational, time-management, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills
  • Interpersonal communication and team-building skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors
  • May at times work overtime hours, depending on proposal and client deliverables

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1–2 years of applicable work experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator
  • Strong writing skills to grow into a lead role on writing proposals
  • Previous editing experience
  • Excellent collaboration skills with a focus on rapport-building, listening, questioning, and patience; adept at communicating effectively with all levels of employees—both technical and non-technical
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment
