Kelly is hiring a QA Technician (Raw Material) for one of our clients in Union City, CA
Job Summary: IRCA is a leading international provider of semi-finished ingredients for the bakery,
pastry and gelato markets, serving independent producers as well as large food manufacturers.
Irca Group USA LLC is a division of IRCA, which complements the existing categories with the
addition of sweet particulates, chocolate confections and inclusions.
Essential Functions:
• Inbound Raw Material process from end to end. Inspection, COA verification against
supplier specification and company requirements, sample collection, non-conforming
holds to releasing in inventory management system.
• Managing and record keeping of raw material 3rd party micro testing.
• Raw Material inventory management system transactions.
• Responsible for raw material non-conformance (RMC) tool and follow up and closing
process.
• Responsible for managing aging raw materials process and Sensory program.
• Data entry for Quality data systems.
• Responsible for Weekly Environmental Monitoring swabs.
• Back-up for Quality Technician as needed for rounds, testing, inspections approvals for
products and process.
• Vacation relief back up for lab technician.
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Able to work weekends as needed
• Microsoft Office Systems
Education
• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
