Aegis is seeking a quality engineer to join our clients organization in Chicago. The ideal candidate has the following skills:
· 5 years of experience working in quality
· Machine shop industry experience, machine builder or having experiencing working for a OEM.
· QMS system experience- Triangle is working on implementation of a new QMS system- ideally someone who has been apart of an implementation previously.
· Knowledge of 3-A Sanitary Standards and other industry-specific quality management systems.- this does not need to be 3-A specific but, having experience with regulations from previous roles.
Nice to have:
· Bachelors degree in engineering principal.
· Lean six sigma- black belt or similar.
· Experience with root cause analysis and CI initiatives.
· Experience with CAPA- Handling defects, deviations, and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
· Ability to identify risks and potential failure points using Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
