Receptionist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and proactive Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our office at The Retail Connection. The ideal candidate will manage front desk responsibilities with professionalism and efficiency, while also supporting general office upkeep, including kitchen and breakroom duties. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys maintaining a clean and welcoming workspace and can multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Duties:
· Greet visitors, clients, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
· Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
· Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
· Maintaining calendar by scheduling meetings and or reserving conference rooms.
· Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
· Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Administrative Support:
· Assist with data entry, filing, and basic clerical tasks.
· Support other departments with ad hoc administrative needs.
· Order office supplies and monitor inventory levels.
Kitchen & Breakroom Responsibilities:
· Restock breakroom supplies such as coffee, tea, utensils, paper goods, and condiments.
· Tidy up kitchen and breakroom areas throughout the day to ensure cleanliness and organization.
· Wipe down surfaces, load/unload dishwasher, and remove trash as needed.
· Conduct bi-weekly fridge clean-ups, discarding expired or unclaimed items and notifying staff in advance.

Education | Experience | Skills
· High school graduate or GED equivalent at a minimum.
· 2-3 years of experience in an office environment; commercial real estate experience a plus.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong interpersonal skills and works well in a team environment.
· Customer service oriented with a “can do” approach to work.
· Dependable, professional and possess a positive attitude.
· Must be available to work from 8:00am to 5:00pm / 5 days a week.
