Telehealth position
Minimum of 2 years experience in outpatient care, weight management and/or geriatric care required
Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm EST (with 1 hr lunch break) Immediate benefits eligibility for qualifying placements
Reliable home tech set up required
Duties include providing simulated individualized, evidence based nutrition counseling with brief weekly team huddles DOD is assisting a company in looking for experienced, compassionate RDs to provide nutrition counseling to adults 65+ focused on weight management and healthy aging. The position will be contributing to data collection for an innovative AI-powered Intensive Behavioral Therapy program. All counseling will be held over a phone call and recorded as training for the program's model. Key Duties - Provide personalized nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy for various medical conditions weight management and healthy aging
- Assess and provide recommendations for patients ages 65+
- Utilize behavior modification strategies and techniques to optimal nutrition counseling
- Evaluate achievement of learning objectives and provide appropriate treatment plan in accordance with patient goals
- Utilize nutrition-related information systems and/or patient medical record systems to successfully document recommendations and progress
- Demonstrates accountability for the proper use of patients’ protected health information
- Ability to perform work independently with minimal training
Required Licenses/Certifications - Current Registered Dietitian credentialed by CDR
- At least 1 state dietitian license is required prior to starting position

Candidates must successfully complete a thorough pre-hire screening process, including but not limited to: phone screen, background check, drug screen, reference and credential check, clinical competency assessment, and tuberculosis screening. Immunization titers and fingerprinting, as needed.
