Job Description

Our client, a large media and entertainment company in Burbank, is looking for a Retail Marketing Manager for a 6-month hybrid contract. This role will support the digital transactional business and play a pivotal role in evaluating promotional opportunities with key retailers for both New Release and Catalog titles. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in retail/consumer marketing or sales within entertainment, particularly streaming, and have a proven ability to collect and analyze data to inform strategic decisions. This position requires a proactive, collaborative professional with exceptional communication and organizational skills to drive marketing initiatives and support cross-functional teams.

This is a hybrid position and requires 2-3 days/week onsite in Burbank.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key retailers to develop and evaluate promotional opportunities for New Release and Catalog titles.
  • Support the North America team in managing digital transactional business initiatives.
  • Conduct ad hoc data collection and analysis to generate insights for marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Create presentations and reports for internal stakeholders to communicate findings, trends, and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, content, and analytics, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing execution.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and retail promotions, identifying areas for optimization.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activities within the entertainment and streaming sectors.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in retail/consumer marketing or sales within the entertainment industry, specifically in streaming.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to drive decision-making.
  • Proficiency in creating presentations and reports using tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and other relevant software.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of digital transactional business models and consumer behavior in the entertainment sector.
  • A passion for entertainment and retail marketing, with a proven track record of successful campaign execution.
