Job Description

The Sheraton Baltimore North has an exciting opportunity to join our team as our Revenue Manager. The Revenue Analyst works with the hotel’s Director of Sales and Marketing and the company’s VP of Revenue Strategy to maximize hotel revenue through daily management of room inventory and pricing across all segments. In this role, you will help develop and change room rates availability strategies to optimize the best mix of business through multiple distribution channels. In addition, this position will be responsible for driving analysis, compiling reports, and developing models to support better decisions across the hotel Responsibilities:

• Support hotel’s strategy efforts via analysis and reporting that ensure all segments and distribution channels are mined for revenue opportunities based on budget, forecast, pace, and market demand.
• Maximize revenue potential and ensure proactive and accurate maintenance and management of all systems: Lightspeed, OYv2, CI/TY, and MARSHA.
• Assist VP Revenue Strategy in preparing weekly short and long-term forecasts and DVR reports.
• Support VP Revenue Strategy in compiling and communicating all documents, reports, and presentations for required ownership and leadership reporting.
• Items needed for daily standups, department meetings weekly Sales Strategy meetings, Finance calls, and Annual Budget discussions.
• Own and validate all required data entry for daily, weekly, and monthly reports used for monitoring performance against budget, forecast, and pace reports.
• Ensure that the necessary reports are maintained and systematically analyzed, including but not limited to STR, Market Segment Analysis, Hotelligence / Agency 360 reports, OTA reports, Pickup, and Pace by segment and Room Type stats.
• Assist DOSM to build, monitor, and balance Lightspeed group rooming lists by room night/rate and room type.

Qualifications:

• Prior hotel revenue management experience required
• Marriott brand experience
