Department: Family Birth Center Position Description: Registered Nurse (RN) Status: PRN - As Needed -Variable Hours and Days Shift: Day and Night - As Needed - Variable Shift Time Schedule: Day 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Night 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. - As Needed Salary Range: $29.70-39.45 Position Summary: The position is responsible for care for families antepartum to postpartum and newborn cares. In this position it is the expectation of these professionals to be responsible for all aspects of care in the Family Birth Center. Responsibilities include care of the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum, mother and stabilization and routine care of the neonate. Provides direct patient care in listed setting and/or any nursing capacity, as needed. To complete other duties including, but not limited to secretarial, housekeeping, etc. to keep the department running efficiently and maintain excellent patient care. Education/Qualifications Required: Valid Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) License. BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, fetal monitoring, caring, customer focused, team player, willing to work hard, motivated to continue to learn and change, able to multitask.
