Role Purpose Statement

To manage and analyze security tasks, support security projects. Also responsible for providing technical support to the field for security equipment. Some travel may be required. Provide administrative and technical support to the Security Specialist and Security Manager as needed.

Main Accountabilities

Security

• Assist in writing security procedures and processes when there are program changes
• Catalog and categorize all security related policies and procedures, meetings, and business items in the Security Folders and SharePoint.
• Manage CAQS, and any new database - review and approve incidents, follow up with CSCs for additional details compile analysis of incidents, actions plan, mock audits.
• Create OnGuard Users – understand program and develop trainings to field
• Create Badge Templates – as needed/per standard, ensure badges are deactivated from separation notices
• Create Vendor drop downs, request letters for compliance to LSG policy, once approved letter, upload Vendor letters to security NAM SharePoint / data base
• Document best practices and new standards and ensuring they are incorporated into Security conference sessions.
• Create and Update Security Presentations: charts including incidents, knife stats, mock and regular audits.
• Update Security Heat Map Checklist and map, communicate any heat map reds or concerns.
• Create and track security related training courses and training schedules, follow up with CSCs to ensure compliance in field.
• Interact with field with form.com completion, communicate non-compliance.
• Conduct CCTV surveillance/investigations, check functionality, secure footage for outside agencies.
• Analyze Internal and third-party Security Audits to determine focus areas and identify trends by CSC. Pareto results
• Prepare/create/maintain weekly, monthly internal reporting packages relevant to security
• Maintain Security information site, ensure integrity of data, track security audit results and scores.
• Communicate to the field any upcoming meetings, monthly calls, policy changes, security events and notices
• Administer procedures on handling, safeguarding and destruction of documents and data in accordance with established policy and guidelines and appropriate timeliness
• Manage and monitor warranty work with vendor; ensure invoices are related to security repairs covered under warranty
• Administer all aspects of the security system and participate on weekly vendor conference calls
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual budget data or reports to track security expenses for upper management
• Monitor controlled access; prepare weekly reports of alarms and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system; conduct video investigations as needed
• Work as a member of the Security Team to identify and implement Lean process improvement opportunities. Other duties as assigned
• Travel estimated at 10%

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum of two years’ office related admin/clerical experience.
• Prefer experience in security related equipment.
