About the Role:

Were on the hunt for a dynamic Senior Accounting Analyst to join the hive on behalf of our clients. In this role youll be responsible for supporting accounting reporting and analysis of investment portfolios. Youll oversee the monthly accounting close financial statement review and financial controls while analyzing financial data to identify issues and opportunities. If youre passionate about accounting and have a knack for financial analysis we want to meet you!

Your Mission:

• Manage Accounting Cycles: Oversee accounting responsibilities within the monthly quarterly and annual closing cycles.
• Financial Statements Preparation: Assist with preparing financial statements cash reconciliations forecasts and budgeting.
• Data Analysis: Perform analysis of financial and operational data to explain variances to budgets.
• Valuations & Accruals: Assist with quarterly valuations and accruals as well as prepare and review capital call notices.
• Technology & Automation: Drive the use of technology and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial and operational analysis.

What You Bring:

• Experience: Five years of finance/accounting experience preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Education: Bachelors degree in accounting business finance or a related field.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness with the ability to work with and report on large amounts of complex data.
• Leadership: Proven formal and informal leadership abilities along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Bonus Points For:

• Analytical Skills: Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities.
• Technology Proficiency: Experience with PowerBi or Alteryx.
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with others in a team environment.
