Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (Go Language+AWS) Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join our Cloud Tooling team.

You will play a crucial role in developing the Cloud Developer Platform and Interfaces, facilitating a streamlined development process on our Cloud Infrastructure. Collaborating closely with customers, you will ensure prompt resolution of feature requests and bug fixes. The ideal candidate will contribute to all aspects of the service lifecycle, from provisioning and deployment to updates and repairs. This role involves cooperating with multiple global teams and driving excellence in Cloud Infrastructure and Online Game Developer Experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our global Cloud Tooling team which owns services like Hashicorp Vault, authentication and authorization
• Drive Cloud Platform provisioning, lifecycle management and certificate monitoring
• Develop high-quality, stable code for automation and internal customer-facing APIs
• Participate in the support rota to assist customers with services offered by Cloud Engineering
• Write and publish high-level designs and developer documentation
• Troubleshoot issues across the entire technology stack
• Engage in planning around release schedules, workload, and priority
• Design services with a focus on privacy, security, compliance, high availability, performance, and resilience

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Go Development within AWS environments
• Extensive knowledge of AWS, including provisioning, IAM roles, and general account management
• Background in working with secrets management solutions such as HashiCorp Vault
• Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts
• Qualifications in certificate management paired with a basic knowledge of cryptography and encryption
• Experience using Terraform, Git, and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling
• Proficiency in Kubernetes solutions like EKS
• Good networking knowledge, especially in AWS contexts

Nice to have

• Competency in AWS Cloud Architecture
• Familiarity with Kubernetes solutions
