As part of this high-profile development, we are seeking a Senior Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to lead cost estimation, contractor submissions, and budget management. The Role

As a Senior Estimator / Quantity Surveyor , you will play a key role in managing project costs, analyzing contractor bids, and ensuring financial efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate cost estimates and maintain budget control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Cost Estimation & Budgeting:

  • Analyze project documents, blueprints, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.
  • Research material, labor, and site-specific costs to inform budgeting decisions.

🔹 Contractor & Vendor Management:

  • Evaluate and negotiate contractor and subcontractor proposals.
  • Review and assess contractor submissions for budget compliance.

🔹 Financial Reporting & Risk Management:

  • Prepare detailed cost reports and financial projections for stakeholders.
  • Monitor project budgets and mitigate financial risks.

🔹 Collaboration & Value Engineering:

  • Work closely with engineers, architects, and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs without compromising quality.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in cost estimation or quantity surveying.
  • Proficiency in estimation tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and Procore.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Professional certification (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator, RICS ).
  • Experience with large-scale industrial or commercial construction projects.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations .

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
