Job Title: Senior Design EngineerAir Compressor

Location: Minneapolis Minnesota 55441

Job Description & Skill Requirement:

• Onsite Coordinator for multiple design Projects in Air Compressors for HVAC applications.
• New Product Design & development of Compressors subsystems. (Preferred experience in Rotating Equipment design & development)
• Design Calculations as per ASME standards.
• DFMEA Risk analysis & Mitigation plan as part of new product development.
• Tolerance stackup analysis for complex assemblies
• Coordinate vendors for Manufacturability check RFQs & proto development & Testing.
• Support for Documentation for Certifications (UL/ASME etc.)

Skills Needed:

• Proficiency with Solidworks
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and skills.
• General familiarity with technology commonly used in manufacturing systems.
• Must be able to develop new equipment from concept through launch.
• Creative ability to conceptualize early on in a project
• Basic knowledge of machining practices and how part tolerances affect machining requirements and cost.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Knowledge of material properties (machinability weldability heat treatment corrosion resistance etc).
• Requires proficiency in selection of materials and OEM components for functional requirement and adopt engineering principles and technologies during equipment/ machine constructions
• Requires experience of engineering change managements analyze and trouble shoot to problems occurred.
