  • Quality & Compliance:
  • Implement data security protocols and ensure all deliverables meet regulatory guidelines and privacy standards.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives by supplying data insights, tracking KPIs, and identifying performance trends.
  • Participate in audits, compliance checks, and documentation reviews as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Note: In lieu of a degree, candidates with significant experience in healthcare data analytics may be considered.
  • At least 4–7 years of hands-on experience in healthcare reporting and business intelligence.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and demonstrated experience querying relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Expertise working with complex reporting tools and frameworks, particularly in a clinical environment.
  • Prior experience building reports and dashboards within Epic or similar EHR systems (e.g., Workbench, dashboards, self-service tools).
  • Comfortable working with outside health systems or vendor partnerships to deliver data-driven projects and improvements.
  • Experience in translating data into insights for leadership, quality teams, and operational stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in healthcare data analytics or clinical reporting tools (Epic-related certifications are highly desirable).
  • Familiarity with healthcare quality metrics, payer reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, CMS, etc.).
  • Strong background in performance improvement initiatives and clinical data analysis.
  • Ability to automate processes, write scripts, or develop custom data integrations.
  • Previous involvement in project delivery within the system development life cycle.

Soft Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical data to non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and multiple concurrent projects.
  • High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive mindset for problem-solving.
  • A collaborative team player who values feedback, continuous learning, and innovation.
  • Upholds data confidentiality and organizational values in every aspect of work.
