Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Interior Designer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in interior design, a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of projects, and the ability to lead and mentor junior designers. This role requires a deep understanding of design principles, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage interior design projects from concept to completion.
  • Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and detailed plans to clients.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design integrity and project success.
  • Oversee the selection of materials, furnishings, and finishes to meet project requirements and budget.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to ensure innovative design solutions.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design specifications are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices.
