Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid (Two days in-office, three days remote)

Compensation: $250,000 - $300,000 per year, discretionary bonus

About the Firm:

A top-tier international law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Associate to join its Dispute Resolution & Compliance team in Menlo Park. This is an opportunity to work on high-stakes, complex commercial litigation and cross-border disputes in a collaborative environment.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of litigation experience with a strong background in complex commercial disputes. Responsibilities include legal research, drafting pleadings and briefs, managing document discovery, conducting depositions, and participating in pre-trial and trial proceedings. This role offers immediate attorney and client interaction, requiring a high level of professionalism and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and client correspondence
• Manage document discovery, including review and production
• Take and defend depositions
• Lead pre-trial preparation efforts
• Participate in trial proceedings
• Supervise and mentor junior associates
• Collaborate with cross-border teams to resolve complex legal issues

Qualifications & Requirements:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active Bar admission; admission to the State Bar of California is a plus
• 5-7 years of experience handling complex litigation matters
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage directly with partners and clients
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Effective team player with a problem-solving mindset
• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
