In this role you will get to: - Manage a team(s) of high caliber software engineers.
- Support and collaborate with other technology leaders in Priceline, as well as other leaders within your immediate team, to continuously improve existing opportunities, responsibilities and new endeavors.
- Identify opportunities and drive improvement in our services & contribute to the ongoing and ever-changing development of global flights platform
- Provide coaching and guidance to team members as assigned, as well as effectively manage team member performance.
- Lead multiple projects, including planning, prioritization, and task delegation.
- Enforce accountability for the quality of software that is created.
Who you are: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of engineering management experience along with a track record of hiring and retaining strong engineering talent.
- Experience with Java, Spring, Mysql, Cloud, Kubenetes, Containers, kafka and distributed systems design.
- Display leadership through transformation, display management through positive influence.
- Conduct training and workshops, provide a management strategy including but not limited to development through agile, visuals & documentation, problem solving, KPI and metrics, capacity management, coaching and feedback, as well as individual development plans.
- Data driven mentality that translates into actionable conclusions & solutions to problems.
- Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.
The salary range for this position is $175,000-$220,000.

Flexible work at Priceline Priceline is following a hybrid working model, which includes two days onsite as determined by you and your manager (ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). On the remaining days, you can choose to be remote or in the office.
