Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Portfolio Operations Associate.

You will ideally be currently working for a large institutional broker dealer, a hedge fund or a registered investment advisor.

The client is a very large and growing RIA and has a unique and dynamic environment.

You will be part of a large team supporting Portfolio Managers for all investment related operations & middle office processes

Your role:

• Interacting with banking and other counterparty relationships to price securities, facilitate trade execution, and solve operational issues
• Coordinating with different internal groups, including Portfolio Managers and Accounting Team, to ensure smooth functioning of various operational processes
• Dealing with trade execution and account reconciliation
• Facilitating monthly client reporting and presentation process
• Generating trade instructions

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ work experience in financial services with strong knowledge of financial products and markets
• 3+ years of Securities operations experience gained in an RIA, Hedge Fund or Institutional Broker/Dealer
• Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg
• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written along with superior math skills
• An undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, engineering, or related degree preferred
